Introduction

Preo can operate your storefront in two ways:

1. Hosted: Preo provides a hosted solution where you can create your storefront using our platform. This is the easiest way to get started, as you don't need to worry about managing anything.
2. Embedded: Preo storefront can be embedded into your existing website or application. This allows you to maintain your current design and user experience while leveraging Preo's features.

Hosted

By default, all hosted storefronts are operated on the shop.preo.cloud domain, allowing you to claim your store name in the form of shop.preo.cloud/{your-store-name}.

There's also an option to use your own domain or subdomain, however this requires some additional setup on Preo's side.

To create a hosted storefront:

1. Log in to the Preo Backoffice
2. Navigate to Organization > Hosted Stores
3. Create and configure your hosted store

For custom domain setup, contact your Preo account manager.

Embedded

To embed Preo into your existing website or application, you can use our JavaScript SDK. This allows you to integrate Preo's into your existing site and customize the look and feel to match your brand.

Steps to Embed Preo

1. Install the SDK: Add the Preo JavaScript SDK to your website or application. You can do this by including the following script tag in your HTML:

2. Place the Widget: Add the Preo widget to your HTML where you want it to appear. For example:

3. Done: That's it! The Preo widget will now be embedded in your website or application, and you can start using it to power your storefront.
